Spa
A special highlight is our lake sauna (only three of those existing in Germany). It juts out over a long wooden walkway into the lake. An oasis of relaxation with an incomparable view.
From summer 2021, our SPA house will offer you saunas, steam baths, relaxation areas and relaxing treatments on over 1,200 square meters. The 600 square meter roof terrace invites you to linger and regenerate with a fantastic view on the lake. Relaxation and joy for your soul!
In our wellness house there are two swimming pools available for you to enjoy your holiday. In addition, a connection to a heated outdoor pool is planned, in which relaxation is guaranteed.
Sports
We love water sports so all water lovers will get their money’s worth. Whether it’s canoing, sailing, stand up paddling or windsurfing, a variety of water sports are guaranteed with us.
Numerous fantastic tours and excursions around the lake, over the nearby Dammer Berge and through the quaint moors. Just right for everyone who likes to actively enjoy nature.
In winter we also have something special for you, because it only takes a few cold winter days for a thick layer of ice to form on Dümmer-See. The shallow water depth of the lake is perfect for everyone who likes to skate across the ice on cold days or love wonderful walks in the snow.
Food
Our beach bar is the perfect place to pamper yourself and to enjoy. Here you can get fresh baked goods, coffee specialties and other light dishes that will sweeten your day!
Only a few steps away from the beach bar is the spacious plaza – the resorts central meeting place. This is where the two restaurants and the bistro will be built, to guarantee an ideal starting and landing point for your holidays.
You will also love our restaurants. Good food in good company is important to us, so you can feel good and enjoy the atmosphere here without white tablecloths. Fresh dishes combined with modern design will make your visit to one of the two restaurants a pleasure for your palate and soul.
Nature
The specialty of the nature park Dümmer-See is its variety of landscapes, pristine forests and extensive raised and fens. Here you can go on a discovery tour at any time of the year and enjoy the fascinating flora and fauna.
In the neighboring Dümmer Museum you can learn a lot about the lake and its inhabitants. In the indoor and outdoor aquarium you can experience numerous fish such as tench, bream and rudd up close behind glass. By the way, fishing in the region is a popular pastime and is basically possible with a permit.
The nature park is an international bird protection reserve. Over 275 species of birds are living here. Every year in spring and autumn we have a special attraction: Thousands of cranes stop at the lake on their flight route to the south or north.

CENTER OF NORTH GERMANY
The Marissa holiday park can be easily reached by car from the surrounding metropolitan regions via the German motorway network. Guests from Bremen, Hanover and from the Dutch border need less than two hours. The travel time from Hamburg or Düsseldorf to the resort is a maximum of two and a half hours. If you want to travel by train, you can easily use the train station in Diepholz. From here it is only a 12-minute drive to Marissa Ferienpark.
